Market Update #SPX

The markets continue to push higher but the gains have been muted. Instead of 10 point jumps on the S&P or triple digit gains for the Dow, we're looking at 2 to 3 for the S&P and 40 to 50 for the Dow. As we continue to hit new records and uncharted territory, it will be more and more challenging to continue the trend unless we have fundamental data to back it up.

We have the jobs report due out this Friday and this could be the catalyst to push higher. Earnings season is also around the corner
