German business confidence hits 26-year high

ES futures almost flat and Nasdaq futures negative before the close today. International data helped with a pop in US equities.

The Ifo’s business climate index rose to 115.1 from 114.6 the month before, marking itshighest level since 1991 and beating expectations

    Is there a divergence between them? The Ifo’s Business Climate is up tremendously, while the GDP growth YoY is just tame.

      In the past, data shows it’s a leading indicator.
