Are you considering that we could be building a market top?

Today’s price action got me thinking about the Q3 of 2007, not many traders wanted to consider a paradigm shift there. And can you do it now?

Currently market prices can just result on a great “Buy the Deep” opportunity which, by the way, have worked for almost a decade.

How can you be sure that it will work this time?  I do not know.
Here you have a few charts:

I remember trading for a large back in 2007 when things started to turn negative. Not many trades that I knew, wanted to openly explore the option of a great short building up. At this time a short position can be as risky as getting long. The market is oversold and large swing are taking place in both directions.

Institutional traders are adjusting their portfolios and that can create good intraday opportunities if you have the skills and tools to profit

Market tops usually can take a few quarters to get confirm because price need to consolidate below the last high. Tops had occurred a few times every decade and they are almost impossible to time correctly. On the other hand, it is good consider all options when market prices are showing recent weakness in both weekly and monthly candles.
