July ended with a quite interesting push up on the last day, making for an intriguing conclusion to the month.
MARKETS TECHNICALLY:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DIA) did not trade negative for the second half of the month.
The correction, if we can even call it that, was not strong, despite bears being in control for 3 days.
If we had to pick one between the S&P 500 (SPY), Nasdaq (QQQ), and Dow Jones Industrial Average (DIA), the latter would be the clear winner, as it did not trade negative for the latter half of the month.
MTD for JULY:
DIA 3.8%, QQQ -1.5% and SPY 1% MTD

Trying to be political agnostic: I’ve observed that the markets have performed similarly under both US political parties.
A. Trump is currently leading in the polls, but remember, I don’t trust the polls anymore since Brexit.
B. Harrys seems to have been picked as the replacement.
